Black Smokey Eye ft. red hair🖤

Hi lovelies,

Sorry I’ve been a little quiet, life has been CRAZY!!!! As you know I have a little boy, he’s now 9 months!! whaaaat. For anyone that follows me it only seems like 5 minutes since I was posting my birth story! Recently, I started a makeup artistry course (if you’d like me to keep you all updated on it let me know!)🙂

Anyway, I kept meaning to post this.. if you would like a pictorial on how I did this look step by step then pop a comment below 🙂

I’m actually loving this look.. so simple and easy to do but really effective 😍

For a black Smokey eye I literally just pack on the black onto my eyelid, you want to make sure it’s nice & dark closest to the lash line. Then go in with a warm brown (I used my Hoola bronzer) in the crease & blend that in to the black so it fades softly from black to brown. You may have to keep building colours & going back and forth between each colour but once you get to the intensity you want it’s so worth it!

To make my inner corners pop I used my favourite glitter liner as it stays so so well & whacked a load of mascara on my lashes (of course!)😊

I know black can be really scary but it doesn’t have to be. Just be confident & ROCK IT!! 💜

I will make sure I bring you more posts. I always miss you guys when I’m quiet on here! I hope you’ve all been well?😘

12 Days of Christmas Day 4 Christmas Tree, oh Christmas tree!❤

Hi lovelies😘

I saw this photo (below) on Google & was obsessed. I just knew I had to recreate it. It inspired me to do my own take on it as I’d never done it before I didn’t quite know how it was going to turn out!!

I did change it slightly as I took inspiration, I didn’t want to copy someone else’s work exactly. Below is my version of this Christmas Tree inspired look!

I love this green shade, shimmery green shade from Soph X Revolution Palette 🙂 I just love the extra bit of glam it gave this look!! It actually isn’t as hard as it looks! If I can do it, so can you! Used a green face paint as a base for the liner & packed the green shadow on top. I also used face paint for the different coloured bulbs!!

check out my tutorial on my FB page (Link below!)

I then of course had to tie it altogether with a dark red lip!! 🎄 Feeling so festive right now. Are you ready for Christmas?

12 days of Christmas Day 1-3❤

Hi lovelies,

oh gosh.. crazy!! ITS DECEMBER!❤

Who else loves this festive time of year? so much so I’m doing different looks each day.. here’s the first 3 days as it totally slipped my mind to post them here 🤔 haha!! my bad.

Day 1 – snow is falling

I decided to do an icy wintery look for my first. It was the first time doing a cut crease look with a wing.. really wish I had put winged liner on, but we live & learn!

Used the Addiction Palette 5 for the icy shimmer & ‘Fervent’ & ‘Agile’ single shadows from my custom palette!

Day 2 – Mulled wine shine

I absolutely adore these colours on my eyes so had to do it!! Used the Soph X Revolution Palette 😍 I have a review, click here to read.

Day 3 – green smokey eye

I have green eyes so NEVER use green on my eyes. After using this green, again from the Soph X Revolution Palette! can you tell I love this palette?🙂 I smoked it out using a couple of the light brown shades in the crease. I did put a pop of purple on the bottom lash line which I really thought made my green eyes really bright!!

What do you think of these looks?

30 Days Of Makeup Nov 2018

30 Day Makeup Challenge ❤

hi lovelies,

so I’ve missed a couple of days so I thought I would combine them!! I actually love how the look turned out, not just because it’s inspired by one of my favourite people of all time, Taylor Swift!!🙂 hands up swifties!!❤

I missed the last couple of days due to being super busy & little man had been quite clingy, so here’s days 16, 17 & 18 all in one gorgeous look!! if I do say so myself!! 🤣

Products used:

Face

I started off of course with a cleansed & moisturised blank canvas. I then used my radiance boosting cocktail to give some life to my skin before priming & applying a light layer of foundation. I concealed, powdered & added bronzer & highlight after I had completed the eyes as I like to see how the eyes look before completing my base, I like to do this to make sure the balance is right!

♡ Soap & Glory Bright & Pearly Radiance Boosting Cocktail- Boots

♡ Glorious Face Primer – Younique

♡ Mineral Touch Liquid Foundation (shade scarlet) – Younique

♡ Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (Shade 0 Extra Fair) – Boots

♡ Touch Loose Powder Foundation (shade scarlet) – Younique

♡ Beachfront Bronzer (shade sunset) – Younique

♡ Touch A La Mode Powder Luminizer (iridescent) – Younique

Eyes

For my eyes I wanted to keep it super simple & easy, I used the shade ‘arrogant’ all over my eye lid & in my crease. I then deepened up the outer corner using ‘brave’. To help blend out the outer edges I used the shade ‘tender’ this also gives a gorgeous glow & highlight to the brow bone. I then packed ‘secretive’ on my lid for a bit of sparkle!! I ran both brown shades under the lash line for a more smokey effect before adding plenty of mascara!!

I also used ‘brave’ as my brow powder to add definition & shape. To set the brows I used my fave brow gel!

♡ Addiction 4 Palette – Younique

♡ Loreal Brow Plumper – Boots

♡ Epic Mascara – Younique

Lips

For my lips I used my fave red lippy to add this bold pop of colour to my look!! & of course to signify the fact that Taylor Swift was my inspiration!!

♡ Splash Matte Liquid Lipstick (shade sizzling) – Younique

30 Day Makeup Challenge ❤

Hi lovelies,

Wow!! Day 12 of my 30 day makeup challenge 🙂 that means we are nearly in to week two of November! whaaat!!😯

Anyway, day 12 is a pop of colour so I decided to use my favourite shade on my eyes today!! I absolutely love purple on my eyes, it really does make them stand out!!❤

For this pop of colour look I used ‘mixed berries’ from the Soph X Revolution Palette! I blended the colour out with the shades ‘iced coffee’ & ‘tiramisu’ so there were no harsh lines!! I of course then completed the look with winged eyeliner & my fave mascara!😍

what do you think guys?? whats your favourite colour to wear on your eyes!?😍❤

30 Day Makeup Challenge ❤

Hi lovelies,

How are you? 🙂 It’s day 10: cat eye & day 11: holy grail products of my 30 day makeup challenge – Woooo… did them together as I realised this look incorporates my holy grail also!!

This Smokey winged liner is my obsession. I’m seriously considering it being my new go to makeup look. It’s so easy to do but I loveeeee the way it makes my eyes look!!❤

Products used

Eyes

In my crease I just messily applied some bronzer to add warmth and definition!! I then smoked black shadow near my lash line & then used a black liner to create this winged liner. I did smoke it again to soften the liner abit so it wasn’t super harsh. I was definitely going for a sultry look. Of course I added mascara to complete the look.

30 Days Of Makeup Nov 2018

30 day makeup challenge ❤

Hi lovelies,

How are you all? How is it already the 9th November! Crazy how time flies!!

Today is day 9 of my 30 day makeup challenge; summer makeup! Yay! I love summery makeup! Glowy skin & bright, fun eye looks!!

The look I came up with was based on my go to makeup look this summer. I adore a flawless & glowy but light weight base & lovely bright pop on the eyes. I really like how this look came out & I hope you do too!❤

Base

To get that beautiful lit from within glow i started off with these gorgeous products.

– Soap & Glory Bright & Pearly Radiance Boosting Cocktail ~ Boots

– Bareminerals Complexion Rescue ~ Boots

– Glorious Face Primer ~ Younique

Then to get that base flawless I put on a light layer of foundation.

– Touch Mineral Foundation (shade scarlet) ~ Younique

To contour I used my fave Hoola, to put some structure back in to the face & for highlight I went in with my go to as it gives such a beautiful glow to my skin!

– Benefit Hoola Bronzer ~ Boots

– Touch A La Mode Powder Highlight (Iridescent) ~ Younique

Eyes

In my crease I went in with the shades tiramisu & peaches (mixed together) I then packed strawberry sweets on the outer edge & finished the look off with sparks fly all over the lid & inner corner. To get that bright highlight in my inner corners I used the highlight I put on my face.

– Soph X Revolution Palette ~ superdrug

To finish the eyes I put a generous coat of my fave mascara. No look is complete without it!!

– Epic Mascara ~ Younique

For brows I used the darkest powder to define my tails & the lighter shade to shape the fronts of my brows! #goodbrowday!!

– Moodstruck Brow Palette ~ Younique

Lips

For my lips I put stellar liquid lip on the outer edges of my lip & sublime liquid lip on the centre! I love the mix of these two shades, so pretty.

– Splash Matte Liquid Lipstick (shades stellar & sublime) ~ Younique

I hope your enjoying this 30 day makeup challenge 🙂 feel free to join in!!❤
