Monthly Favourites

June Favourites ❤

Hi beauties 🌞

I haven’t done a monthly favourites in what seems like forever. So I thought I’d bring it back & start with my June favourites! If you’d like to know what makeup/beauty products I’ve been loving in the month of June,  then keep watching 🙂

1. Sleek Makeup Au Naturel Palette – £7.99

I absolutely adore this palette. It’s so versatile, fabulous quality & compact. I literally take this everywhere with me!

2. Benefit Hoola Bronzer – £23.50

Yes, it may be quite pricey for a bronzer, but trust me, I’ve had this for a year (at least). If you want to know more about this product read my review, p.s. this is the same bronzer I used to review!

3. bareMinerals Original –  £26

This bareMinerals powder foundation is amazing. It wears so well & has a decent amount of coverage, can be built up to your desired coverage! Let me know if you’d like to see a review! 🙂

4. St Tropez Gradual Tan – £14.49

I got the light/medium one, I’m naturally like a vampire! But if you’re not so pale you can go for the medium/dark shade. Want to know more about this product? Check out my first impression here.

5. Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation – £9.99

I have the shade ‘Light Vanilla’ 51. It’s the perfect shade & oh wow, my skin has never looked better. Needless to say I have used this nearly everyday since I bought it. ‘Like’ for a review! 🙂

6. Taylor Swift Enchanted Wonderstruck – £22

You all know I love Taylor, so of course I love her perfume. Well, I do own pretty much all of them (oops!). I reviewed the original Wonderstruck perfume, check that out here! Review for this will be up in the near future 🙂

7. Real Techniques Buffing Brush – £20.99 (part of the Core Collection)

If you’ve followed my blog from the beginning you’ll know I’m a huge fan of the Real Techniques brushes created by Pixiwoo! I adore this brush for foundation, it applies the product evenly & effortlessly.

Read my review here.

8. Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in fair neutral – £17.50

After the recommendation from Wayne Goss (GossMakeupArtist on YouTube) I took the plunge & bought this concealer. I haven’t looked back since it’s amazing. It’s so illuminating & covers pretty well too! 🙂

9. Sleek Makeup Rose Gold Blush – £4.49

For this fabulous low price these Sleek blushes are a steal. You get a massive amount of product which is highly pigmented. I think I’ll have this for the rest of my life.

So that wraps up my June favourites ☺. Let me know if you enjoy these posts, I love to hear your thoughts ♥

What have you been loving in June? ☺

Lots of Love Natasha

Makeup of the day

Summer skin & hair…

Hi beauties 🌞

Yesterday I fancied doing a simple makeup look & hairstyle, so that’s just what I did! Here is how I achieved it…

For my hair I just brushed it through & plaited my fringe. My hair was slightly oily as it was second (or maybe third) day hair, but I find this style looks better a bit more ‘grungy’ 🙂 if you want a bit more oomf and body to your hair just spritz a bit of dry shampoo into the roots!!!

For my face I obviously started off with my Simple Moisturiser, after letting that sink into the skin I applied my Benefit Porefessional to my t-zone. As I wanted a light coverage I chose to use my Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation & built up the coverage in areas in need. I absolutely love this foundation for summer it’s so glowy & radiant looking 🙂

To add dimension to my face I applied my Benefit Hoola Bronzer into the hollows of my cheeks, temples & jaw line! This also gives the look a summery sunkissed look :). Just to make sure I was a glowing goddess this day I used my MUA Mosaic blush, this is so beautiful for the pittance it cost!!!

For my eyes I did a simple winged liner using my Makeup Revolution double ended liner (review coming shortly!). I then finished off the eyes by applying my mascara of the moment Kiko Active+ Volumising Mascara!!

As always I used my Benefit Gimme Brow, just look at the results! No words needed. 🙂

For lips I just applied a tinted lip balm, B. Cosmetics Lip Balm in the shade Caramel 👍

What do you guys think of glowy/dewy skin? Yay or nay?

Lots of Love Natasha

Monthly Favourites

June Favourites ☼

Hi beauties. ☼

Oh wow, I can’t believe it’s already July! But that means it’s favourites timeeeeee, yaaay! 😀 I know I haven’t been consistent with my favourites, but I’m planning to do them every month now. Click ‘like’ if you’d like to see that 🙂

Anyway, on with my June favourites…

1. Hollister Body Mist in Crescent Bay – I’ve had this spray since Christmas time (I think), although I use it almost everyday it’s still going strong! I absolutely love this scent, it sort of smells like a watermelon/strawberry hybrid, it’s the perfect, light body spray for summer.☼wpid-photogrid_1404230886131.jpg2. Sleek True Colour Matte Lipstick in Papaya Punch – Although this is a recent purchase, I think I actually bought it at the beginning of June, I’ve been loving it!! It’s such a beautiful orange colour, you guys know how much I looooovemy orange lippys 🙂

3.The Body Shop Body Butter in Strawberry – My best friend bought me this as part of my christmas present, there’s a story behind it though. (Beware it may seem quite weird to you, haha!) Anyway, she bought me this as it reminds us of the smell of Calpol (yes, the medicine). We both love that smell, so she was a little cutie & bought me this for that reason 🙂 I also love how moisturising this actually is on the skin, it makes you feel heavenly!!

4. Rimmel Matte BB Cream – I use this pretty much everyday, as it’s summer here in the UK I don’t like anything too heavy on the skin. This is perfect as it is very light weight & does exactly what I want it to, even my skin tone 🙂 Let me know if you’d like a review on this BB Cream!

5. Catrice Liquid Metal Eyeshadow in Under Treasure – If you’ve read my post about winning an instagram giveaway (if not you can read it here) you’ll know I got this as part of my prize. It turns out, I’m completely in love! This is the most gorgeous metallic, bronze colour, that flatters my green eyes perfectly! Sadly, we can’t get Catrice in the UK!! *sobs*

6. Real Techniques Blush Brush – So you guys know I love Real Techniques brushes, they’re absolutely amazing, especially for their very affordable price tag! I’ve been loving this brush (in conjunction with Hoola) to bronze up my face & even to contour!

7. Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me – After jumping on the band wagon with the Baby Lips, I have been pleasantly surprised! They’re such fab products, this one is the only one I own, but I love it! I have used it everyday on my lips just to add a little bit of colour for work 🙂

wpid-photogrid_1404230845104.jpg8. Benefit Hoola Bronzer – Last, but by no means least, it’s my very favourite bronzer (duuur you guys know that!!). I don’t think I need to say much, you beauties all know how amazing it is. But if you’d like to know more about Hoola then check out my review, click here.

That’s all for my June favourites! I hope you all like these type of posts (let me know if you do) 🙂

Monthly Favourites

April Favourites!♥

Hi beauties. ☼

About a week ago I asked you all which post you’d like to see next & april favourites was the most voted for, so here it is, my favourites of April…

I haven’t got a ton of favourites this month, but these are the products I found myself reaching for on a daily basis 🙂

Face Favourites

My face faves for this month are; Urban Decays All Nighter Setting Spray, Simple Light Moisturiser, L’Oreal True Match Foundation, MeMeMe Beat The Blues Highlighter & the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge(all products are hyperlinked to a page you can buy them from!!)

Since the weather has been brightening up (well till recently!) here in the UK I have been reaching for my Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray, especially if I know I need to keep my makeup on for the full day. As I know this will do its job & set my face makeup until I take it off at night! This really is a FAB product & definitely a must have for anyone with oily skin (I also highly recommend UD De-Slick too!).

Simple’s light moisturiser is definitely a staple in my skincare routine, I have used it for as long as I can remember & it has never disappointed. I find this moisturiser works just as good (if not better) than any high end cream/moisturiser; I’ve tried the Liz Earle moisturisers (day & night ones) but because I have sensitive, oily skin it didn’t seem to agree with me, so I went back to my trusty Simple moisturiser 🙂

L’Oreal True Match Foundation, as you may know, is one of my fave foundations of all time, it is one of the best highstreet/drugstore foundations I have ever tried (it features in day 10 of my beauty challenge, click here for the post), it comes with a wide range of shades (I’m N1 – N = Neutral) they also have cool & warm toned foundations, which I think for highstreet is A-MA-ZING!!

^ I’m thinking of posting a review on this foundation, so if you’d like to see that then let me know 😀 ^

The MeMeMe Beat The Blues Highlighter is a new found love, it came in Aprils Glossybox & ever since I received it I haven’t stopped using it 🙂 I like to use this mixed with my foundation as it gives a subtle glow. It also looks beautiful on the tops of your cheekbones, chin, cupids bow & the bridge of your nose 🙂 To see a picture of me wearing this highlighter check out my sping/summer makeup look (click here).

Last but not least my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, OH MY! I don’t know what I’d do without it, it makes foundation applicaton so effortless. I cannot sing its praises enough 🙂

Eye Favourites

wpid-20140511_222053.jpgI only have two faves for my eyes, but I’m sure its no surprise that I’ve chosen these two; Benefit They’re Real Mascara & a MAC Eyeshadow in Naked Lunch! These are the eye products that I find myself using on a day-to-day basis, they are amazing. They’re Real opens yours eyes up while the Eyeshadow helps to brighten the eye & make you look more awake. They make for such a pretty, but easy everyday look!

Lip Favourites

wpid-20140511_222141.jpgFor my lip favourites of April I have chosen Carmex & MAC Lipstick in Creme Cup. Carmex is such a good lip treatment, it always saves the day for me when I have sore/chapped lips, I couldn’t be without it! It also smells gorgeous, like cherries 😀 My last fave is Creme Cup by MAC, its a cremesheen finish, its super moisturising on the lips & the colour/pigmentation is beautiful!! (swatch below)

I hope you’ve liked my April favourites, if you would like me to make this a monthly thing then please LIKE this post or comment below letting me know 🙂 Also for any reviews on any products mentioned then comment below letting me know or get in touch with me via social media (links below!).

Lots of Love Natasha ♥
