First Impression Friday: Ardell Demi Wispies ❤

Hi beauties. 🌞

After hearing so many good things about these Ardell ‘Demi Wispie’ lashes I purchased a pair. That was about a year ago. They’ve been sat in my makeup draw waiting to be used, & finally I decided it was time.

CUE A FIRST IMPRESSION FRIDAY!!!

image

I started off by applying some of the lash glue, already provided, to the band of the lashes (pictured below!!!).

I waited a few minutes for the glue to go tacky, then using my tweezers (they’re easier and smaller than using fingers!) I maneuvered the lashes so they sat on my lash line. Trying to get them as close to the lashes as I could without sticking the falsies to my real lashes.

Once you’ve got the hang of it, its not too hard, but I’m not kidding you,  I probably spent about 20 minutes fiddling with the first pair trying to find the best and easiest way to get them on.

However, once you get the first of the lashes on you can see an instant & dramatic difference. For someone who has quite long lashes naturally I wasn’t expecting too much. I would definitely repurchase!!
But as you can see from the picture above they really do make a difference!!

I really do see why everyone loves these lashes so much. They are just like real lashes, in how they feel and look. They are so high quality, I can see them lasting a good few wears! 🙂

It’s safe to say I won’t leave my lashes at the bottom of my makeup draw anymore!!

Have you tried these or any other false lashes? What did you think? ❤

Lots of Love Natasha

First Impression Friday (on saturday!) ❤

Hi beauties 🌞

I was meant to get this up yesterday but was soooo busy.. so here it is today, my First Impressions on the Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed!:)

What Soap & Glory claim

• 1-MINUTE HOT PORECLEAR™ TECHNOLOGY – a fast-acting, smoothing and polishing blend of micropumice, salicylic acid and hot clay, which activates with water contact
• GLYCERIN – to help skin feel soft and supple
• unique COLOUR-CHANGING TECHNOLOGY – (blue indicates when it’s activated)
• PLUS surface-polishing micro beads
• use weekly on areas susceptible to blackhead build-up
• strategically formulated for oily/combination skin

What I thought

In Boots it retails for £11.50 and for that price you can’t really say no to trying it.
I first heard about this product from The Makeup Chair on YouTube (definitely check out her channel!!). I always go by her recommendations as she always trials products thoroughly before! 🙂

Although this is only a first impression I really loved the results. My skin felt lovely & soft. Also, I have some blackheads on my nose, they seemed to be reduced.

When you first apply this its a creamy coloured product, with a cream like texture and micro beads for exfoliation. Once you start rubbing it into the face it turns a blue colour. This means the hot poreclear technology has been activated. To be honest you can tell it’s working as your face feels warmer. It does feel strange for a minute or so.

image

You leave it on for about 3 minutes, it makes your face a bit stiff but is tacky to tough. After the time was up I just washed it off using a muslin cloth & patted my face dry with a towel.

Overall I really loved this product after just one use, I’ll definitely keep you updated on how I get on with it.

Have you tried this product? 🙂

Lots of Love Natasha

First Impression Friday: St. Tropez Gradual Tan ❤

Hi beauties 🌞

So spring is upon us & its that time of year again when we want to start looking a bit healthier (or at least less vampy!!!).
To begin this transition into spring/summer skin I decided to take the plunge & buy the St Tropez Gradual Tan! I’ve heard such good things about this brand & product, but never took the plunge.

image

St Tropez Gradual Tan
– light/medium skin formula
– 100% natural tanning agent
– natural streak-free colour
– easy to use

Before I applied this product I had a shower, I didn’t exfoliate my body, I just washed as usual. I like to apply my tan on a night before I go to bed, so it can develop over night & I wake up a bronze goddess 🙂

This gradual tan comes in two shades light/medium & medium/dark! Being very pale I chose the lightest one! To apply this product it is very simple as the product is a cream formula which comes out white. As this is a gradual tan, it acts as a moisturiser & tan in one, which always wins me over!

While applying this gradual tan I noticed it had quite a fragrant, floral scent, which to me was very pleasant as with most gradual tans you get that ‘fake tan’ odour!!!! (Ew!) I was very pleased with this as throughout the development of the tan it only had a slight fake tan smell, which is a winner & one of the main reasons I wanted to try it in the first place! 🙂

When I woke up the tan was quite noticeable, I am very fair & not used to any sort of tan. Anyway, I went into the bathroom to have a peak at my new tan, to my surprise it looked very natural & healthy. I was astounded by the beautiful, streak-free finish & guess what? No funky smell either. Yipeeee!!! Plus, it moisturises my skin PERFECTLY. It sinks into the skin quite quick, leaving your body feeling nourished all day!👍

ST Tropez has really got it down good with their Gradual Tan, I knew there was a reason why everyone loved this brand so much! :)❤

Have you tried this product or any other from this brand? If so, what did you think?
