Sweater Weather TAG!♥

Hi Beauties. ☼

After seeing this TAG on My Sweet Sugarplum‘s blog I decided that’d I’d join in & also do it. I hope you enjoy this Sweater Weather TAG & I TAG ALL of you to do it! 🙂

  • What is your favourite candle scent?

I absolutely LOVEEEE any vanilla scented candles, no matter what the weather! It’s just so comforting & homely smelling to me!

  • Coffee, tea or hot chocolate?

Hmmm.. I love a good coffee on a morning, but can’t beat a hot chocolate on a cold winter evening. So I’d have to go with hot chocolate as a winter warmer!!

  • What’s the best Autumn memory you have?

As a child I always remember going on long walks with the dog/s, golden leaves and trees surrounding us!

  • Which Autumn trend do you prefer – dark lips or winged eyeliner?
wearing MAC Rebel

The combination!! 😉 But, if I were to choose one, I’d say dark lips! DARK MATTE LIPS!! *insert heart eyes emoji!!*

  • Your favourite fragrance for Autumn?

I absolutely ADORE Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Enchanted for the Autumn & colder months. It’s so warming & beautiful!

  • What is your favourite Autumnal food?

You cannot beat a good old pie & chips. YUM YUM.

  • What is Autumn weather like where you live?

Here in the UK it’s pretty cold, mainly wet (some dry days!) & leaves everywhere!!

  • What is your most worn sweater?

I haven’t really started wearing many of my sweaters yet. But when I go for walks I reach for my Crosshatch hoodie. It’s just soooo warm!!

  • Your must have nail polish for Autumn?

Any dark polish. I don’t have a particular favourite!

  • Football games or jumping into leaf piles?

Jumping into leaves, of course!!

  • Skinny jeans or leggings?

ALWAYS skinny jeans.

  • Combat boots or UGGS?

I don’t wear either. Sorry!

  • Is pumpkin spice worth the hype?

Lattes? YES! Love them, they’re so yummy & very festive!

  • What song really gets you into Autumn?

Hmm, this is tough! I don’t have a particular song, but I’m loving Mallory Knox Asymmetry at the moment.

  • Autumn mornings or evenings?

MORNINGS. They’re so much prettier!

  • What do you think about black friday?

It’s overrated! Don’t take part.

  • What’s an Autumn 2015 trend you’re loving?

MATTE MAKEUP. Literally my dream, love all matte makeup! Especially lipstick 🙂

  • Your favourite pie?

Steak & vegetable pie with LOTS of gravy.

As I said at the beginning, I TAG all of you to do this! I hope you enjoyed reading this & I’m looking forward to reading yours too, tag me if you like so I know you’ve done it! 🙂

Lots of Love Natasha

Makeup of the day

Monday MOTD: Stoplight Eye ❤

Hi beauties. 🌞

So I’ve been super super busy this week,  where has it gone? Time just seems to fly these days!!! I hope you are all well & haven’t missed me too much 😉

Due to my lack of posts I’m going to make sure I get back into the routine & create a blogging schedule. Don’t worry I’m still here. 🙂

Anyway, since it’s Monday I’ll be doing a Monday Makeup of the day (this is going to be a weekly thing!) ❤

So the other night I had a couple of hours free, so I decided to create a makeup look of the ‘Spotlight Eye’ trend. I really liked how it turned out;  so here it is…

I started off by cleansing my skin, Iused a new product, Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed Face Mask (review coming on Friday!). I then moisturised my face. To let that sink into the skin I decided to do my eyes before skin. 🙂

To even the skin tone on my eyes I used a bit of concealer. To set that in place I used the lightest shade in my Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 Palette (all shadows used are from this palette!). To create a transition through my crease I used a medium toned brown as my transition shade!!

To add more definition I just kept building the intensity of the medium toned brown all throughout the crease, even the inner part of the eye. Just make sure you leave the centre of the lid nice and bright! Hence the name, spotlight eye. 🙂

I decided I wanted to deepen the look further, so using the darkest matte shade in the palette I blended this through the crease from inner corner to outer corner.
Remember. Blend blend blend!!!!
To brighten the centre I reapplied the lightest shade and a small amount of the lightest shimmery shade. Keep this in the very centre for that strong focus on the eye!

– L’Oréal True Match Foundation in W1
– Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in 1
– Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in translucent
– Benefit Hoola Bronzer
– Catrice Blush
– Mua Highlighter in English Rose

– Maybelline Brow Drama in Medium Dark
– MAC Creme Cup – nude lip option
– Maybelline Colour Sensational Shocking Coral – bright lip option

I really loved how this looked in the end. 🙂

What do you think of the spotlight eye trend? ❤

Tomorrow is the last day of my giveaway, it ends 08/09 @ 5pm!
