Pamper night ❤

Hi beauties 🌞

Third time lucky. Every time I’ve written this post & gone to schedule it, it has somehow managed to delete itself -.- so here we go, third time lucky in getting this post up. 🙂

I was having a pamper night the other night & thought ‘why not show my beauties’. So here it is…

image

First of all I like to take every scrap of makeup off. I begin by taking most of it off with a makeup wipe, then cleansing my face with my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. This makes your face feel so fresh & nourished, cannot beat it! 🙂

As another treat for my skin I used Lush’s Dark Angels black sugar and charcoal cleanser. This just revitalises the face, yes it’s messy but beneficial!!

image

Depending on how I’m feeling I’ll either have a bath or shower. This time I opted for a shower, to cleanse my hair I used Aussies Mega Shampoo,  LOVE this shampoo, its so nourishing you don’t even need a conditioner after!
To make myself smell luscious & clean I used Soap & Glory Sugar Crush, seriously, if you haven’t smelt this, you need to!!!!

image

However, if I was to need a conditioner I’ve been loving this Lush H’Suan Wen Hua hair treatment. It can be used on wet or dry hair & leaves it feeling silky soft. It has a strong smell, but it’s so good I don’t mind!!

image

I like to keep myself shaven but hate the rash that can come with it. Have no fear my lovelies, this little beauty stops shaving rash & moisturises the skin as you shave. I’ll never use crappy disposables again! 🙂

image

After my shower/bath I like to moisturise my skin. This time I went for my St Tropez Gradual Tan as I wanted a bit of a healthy glow too 🙂
My other go to normal moisturiser is the body shop body butter in the strawberry scent. Can’t beat it!

image

Lastly, this wouldn’t be a pamper routine without a bit of oil. I use this Avon Advanced Techniques Moroccan Argan Oil through the ends of my hair to prevent split ends & keep my hair healthy looking!

So there it is, my pamper night!
What’s your fave way to pamper yourself? ❤

Lots of Love Natasha

Pamper night…♥

Hi beauties.

So the other night I decided to have a but of a pamper night before meeting friends. So I thought I’d share it with you all 🙂

image

First a shower was definitely needed after a long, sweaty (ewww!!), day at work!

image

For my body I used my Original Source Lemon shower gel, love these shower gels, they smell amazing 🙂

For my hair I decided to give it a good condition. To start with I used Avon Naturals Colour Moisture shampoo, I then deep moisturised my hair with Aussies 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner! I absolutely love this, it leaves the hair so silky soft & smells lovely!!

image

After shower selfie was definitely called for!! ☆

I always wrap my hair like this as I have such thick hair this helps to dry it a bit before I let it down!

image

After showering I like to pluck my eyebrows. Today they were particularly bad as I don’t like over plucking them & tend to leave it til they’re really in need.

To pluck my eyebrows I just brush them through with a spooly & use some generic tweezers to tweeze out the hairs that are out of place. This is usually the arch, under the tail of the brow & in between the brows!

image

Here’s the finished result of my freshly plucked brows. They aren’t perfect, but that’s what makeup’s for 😀

image

I then did my makeup to go meet my friends 🙂 I went for natural looking skin & eyes with a pop of pink on the lips! Loving this right now, what do you think?

What do you like to do for a pamper night?

Thanks for reading beauties, have a fabulous day xo

Lots of Love Natasha ❤

Makeup of the day

MOTN: Hot Plum!♥

Hi beauties. ☼

So I wore this makeup last week out to dinner with my boyfriend, he took me out before I went on holiday 🙂 I really liked how it turned out so I thought I’d make a post for you…

Here is what the makeup looked like:

wpid-20140801_173005.jpg
Products Used:

Face:

♥ L’Oreal True Match Foundation

♥ Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

♥ MUA Mosaic Blush in English Rose

♥ Benefit Hoola Bronzer

Eyes:

♥ MUA Heaven & Earth Pallette – used the lightest colour all over the lid & in the inner corners of my eyes. I used a mid tone on the outer half & then put a dark colour on the outer edges of the eye to darken the look!

♥ Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl in Black – tight-line & waterline.

♥ Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl in Purple – Smudged along lower lashline (hasn’t picked up well on camera though!)

♥ Maybelline One By One Mascara in Black.

Eyebrows:

♥ Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara in Medium Brown – already in looooove with this product 😀

Lips:

Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick in Hot Plum – this is such a beautiful colour & the formula of these lippys are gorgeous!!

wpid-20140801_173307.jpgAS you can see in this picture the MUA Blush just gives you a rose-y glow, it honestly does look lovely on the cheek & for the price I’m not going to complain 🙂

Have you tried any MUA products? Do you like them? Any recommendations?

Thanks for reading beauties, have a fabulous day xo

Evening Skincare Routine!♥

Hi beauties. ☼

Since I’ve already done a post about my morning skincare routine (click here), I thought it was about time I did my evening skincare routine, it is also a kind of ‘how I remove my makeup’ post as well since I do wear makeup most days 🙂

To start my evening cleansing routine I first remove my makeup, I start off by taking my eye makeup off, to do this I use baby oil. Yes, that’s right, I said baby oil, I discovered this tip from Sinead Cady (The Makeup Chair on YouTube). It seriously removes every trace of eye makeup whilst conditioning the lashes (I can see a difference, when I use baby oil my lashes grow to be thicker & fuller). However, you do have to make sure you don’t get too much of it on your face as it will clog your pores! (your eye area is different to the rest of your face, it isn’t made up of pores as such, which we have on the rest of the face!) 🙂

wpid-20140513_181226.jpg
Johnson’s baby oil!

Anyway, I take a bit of baby oil onto a cotton pad & press it lightly on my eye for a few seconds! When you wipe the cotton pad away the majority of your eye makeup will be gone 🙂 To remove the rest of my face makeup I then take a makeup wipe (well I use baby wipes, just because they are cheaper & to me they all do the same job!!) & lightly buff it over the skin to remove the rest of my makeup.

*side note* I wouldn’t advise using ONLY a makeup wipe to take your makeup off as it doesn’t get deep into the skin like a cleanser, meaning your more likely to become prone to breakouts due to dirty skin/clogged pores!

wpid-20140513_181259.jpg
Simple baby wipes!

Once most of my makeup is taken off I then go in with my cleanser, Liz Earle’s Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, I take a pea-sized amount between my fingers & massage it into my face for a minute or so, I then take a muslin cloth & buff the cleanser off, taking with it the residue of my makeup & any other dirt left on the skin 🙂 SERIOUSLY. If you are having skin problems this cleanser is the BEST. I know it is quite pricey but for skincare I don’t think I could ever compromise; this cleanser has saved my skin, I hardly have breakouts now & it is definitely due to this product as I did have a month or so where I’d run out of it & my skin went crazy!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish!

Lastly, to finish off my evening skincare routine I use both Simple’s toner & thick moisturiser. I put a bit of toner on a cotton pad & wipe it all over the face & neck (never forget the neck with all skincare!), after the wetness has gone from my face I then apply my moisturiser all over my face & neck to re-hydrate my skin (although the Liz Earle cleanser DOESN’T leave the skin feeling dry, I know it’s best to moisturise as well, even for someone like me with oily skin!!).

Simple moisturiser & toner!

My top 5 skincare tips:

1. Be sure to remove all traces of makeup on a night.

2. Find a cleanser that is right for you & stick with it.

3. Never forget to take the skincare down your neck. We apply makeup there so it only seems right! Also, the neck gives off the biggest signs of aging!

4. ALWAYS moisturise, even if you have oily skin. Your skin will be worse for it if you don’t, as it will over produce oils to compensate.

5. When using oils to take eye makeup off be sure it is fully removed & don’t get too much on your face.

I hope you have enjoyed this post or at least found it helpful. If you have any questions about any of the products, then please leave a comment below 🙂
