First Impression Friday

First Impressions Friday: S&G What A Peeling Face Mask ♡

Hi beauties,

Since its Friday I thought I would bring you a first impressions. Something I’m going to be doing each week 🙂 Aiming for my posts to be every Monday, Wednesday & Friday, for anyone who wondered!❤

I have used a couple of the other Soap & Glory sheet masks, if you’d like a review of those let me know 🙂

Anyway, I got this What a Peeling Mask free when I spent so much on Soap & Glory products!🙂 This mask is very straight forward to use… it’s basically a tacky bright pink mask that you smear all over your face, there was a little spatula included which I used to spread the product on my face. This was easy enough to do but as it doesn’t reseal I wanted to use it all up so piled it all on. This was fine but made the waiting time about 40 minutes rather than the 25 minutes they suggest for the mask to set in order for it to be peeled off the face.

I thought that the product was a sample at first but after having a look online it seems this is the full size product! Above is how they come packaged. You get 2 pots of mask which would do your face twice. The only downside to this product is the packaging, I would prefer the pots to be resealable! So next I’ll either get a different pot & put the rest in for another use, as I did waste half of it by loading it all on at once. Or get a friend or my partner to try it too! 🙂

Below is an image of when I’ve just applied the mask. You can see it’s glistening as it’s wet. It goes matte once dried.

You can definitely tell the mask has dried as your face feels super stiff & tight! I love peeling these masks off it’s super satisfying, it does hurt a bit where there’s peach fuzz hairs on your face but grin & bare it & you’ll be fine. Haha!

Once I had peeled it all off I was surprised that my face wasn’t bright red, it actually looked really nice. It felt so much smoother too like the impurities had actually been pulled from my pores! Yaaay!!

I always thought these sort of masks were gimiky but it seems once again, Soap & Glory have done it. This mask is fab, yes I have only tried it once, but usually if my skin is going to react it’ll do it straight away. I’ve never once had a reaction or broke out using soap & glory products, which is why I keep trying more & more!😍

Overall, I would definitely recommend this product as it does what it says! Like I say the only downside is the packaging but if the product is good then I suppose we can let them off! For a first impression I am definitely very pleased.

Hi beauties 🌞

Last week I decided to nip into town since I needed a few skincare items. Obviously I didn’t just buy what I needed, haha. So today I’m  sharing with you what I picked up from Boots and Superdrug!:)

L’Oréal had a 3 for 2 offer, naturally I took it upon myself to buy 3 items. I’ve been wanting to repurchase the True Match foundation for agesssss now, so decided to pick it up. I got shade W1 as N1, the shade I got before, was a bit ghostly.
Click here for an in depth review.

The second L’Oréal product I picked up was the Brow Plumper;  my twin beautifulbreakable adores and highly recommends. Definitely look forward to a review!

image

Thirdly, I got L’Oréals Lumi Magique Concealer. I’ve not tried this so I’ll keep you all posted 🙂

image

I was running low on my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, so repurchased it. LOVEEEE this. Definitely my go to concealer!! 🙂

image

I recently discovered how much I love this Soap and Glory Sugar Crush scent so had to pick up the body wash. If you haven’t smelt it. YOU NEED TO!!

image

I was in need of a new face cleanser so decided to give this Soap and Glory Peaches and Cream Deep Cleansing Milk a try. I’ll keep you posted on it!:)

image

I’ve already done a ‘First Impression’ on this Soap and Glory No Clogs Allowed. Click here to find out more about it!

image

I’ve always been curious about Micellar Water so I decided to try this Garnier one. A review will be on its way! 🙂

Have you tried any of these products? What did you think of them? ❤

First Impression Friday

First Impression Friday (on saturday!) ❤

Hi beauties 🌞

I was meant to get this up yesterday but was soooo busy.. so here it is today, my First Impressions on the Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed!:)

What Soap & Glory claim

• 1-MINUTE HOT PORECLEAR™ TECHNOLOGY – a fast-acting, smoothing and polishing blend of micropumice, salicylic acid and hot clay, which activates with water contact
• GLYCERIN – to help skin feel soft and supple
• unique COLOUR-CHANGING TECHNOLOGY – (blue indicates when it’s activated)
• PLUS surface-polishing micro beads
• use weekly on areas susceptible to blackhead build-up
• strategically formulated for oily/combination skin

image

What I thought

In Boots it retails for £11.50 and for that price you can’t really say no to trying it.
I first heard about this product from The Makeup Chair on YouTube (definitely check out her channel!!). I always go by her recommendations as she always trials products thoroughly before! 🙂

Although this is only a first impression I really loved the results. My skin felt lovely & soft. Also, I have some blackheads on my nose, they seemed to be reduced.

When you first apply this its a creamy coloured product, with a cream like texture and micro beads for exfoliation. Once you start rubbing it into the face it turns a blue colour. This means the hot poreclear technology has been activated. To be honest you can tell it’s working as your face feels warmer. It does feel strange for a minute or so.

image

You leave it on for about 3 minutes, it makes your face a bit stiff but is tacky to tough. After the time was up I just washed it off using a muslin cloth & patted my face dry with a towel.

Overall I really loved this product after just one use, I’ll definitely keep you updated on how I get on with it.

Have you tried this product? 🙂

Pamper night ❤

Hi beauties 🌞

Third time lucky. Every time I’ve written this post & gone to schedule it, it has somehow managed to delete itself -.- so here we go, third time lucky in getting this post up. 🙂

I was having a pamper night the other night & thought ‘why not show my beauties’. So here it is…

image

First of all I like to take every scrap of makeup off. I begin by taking most of it off with a makeup wipe, then cleansing my face with my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. This makes your face feel so fresh & nourished, cannot beat it! 🙂

As another treat for my skin I used Lush’s Dark Angels black sugar and charcoal cleanser. This just revitalises the face, yes it’s messy but beneficial!!

image

Depending on how I’m feeling I’ll either have a bath or shower. This time I opted for a shower, to cleanse my hair I used Aussies Mega Shampoo,  LOVE this shampoo, its so nourishing you don’t even need a conditioner after!
To make myself smell luscious & clean I used Soap & Glory Sugar Crush, seriously, if you haven’t smelt this, you need to!!!!

image

However, if I was to need a conditioner I’ve been loving this Lush H’Suan Wen Hua hair treatment. It can be used on wet or dry hair & leaves it feeling silky soft. It has a strong smell, but it’s so good I don’t mind!!

image

I like to keep myself shaven but hate the rash that can come with it. Have no fear my lovelies, this little beauty stops shaving rash & moisturises the skin as you shave. I’ll never use crappy disposables again! 🙂

image

After my shower/bath I like to moisturise my skin. This time I went for my St Tropez Gradual Tan as I wanted a bit of a healthy glow too 🙂
My other go to normal moisturiser is the body shop body butter in the strawberry scent. Can’t beat it!

image

Lastly, this wouldn’t be a pamper routine without a bit of oil. I use this Avon Advanced Techniques Moroccan Argan Oil through the ends of my hair to prevent split ends & keep my hair healthy looking!

So there it is, my pamper night!
What’s your fave way to pamper yourself? ❤
