First Impression Friday: St. Tropez Gradual Tan ❤

Hi beauties 🌞

So spring is upon us & its that time of year again when we want to start looking a bit healthier (or at least less vampy!!!).
To begin this transition into spring/summer skin I decided to take the plunge & buy the St Tropez Gradual Tan! I’ve heard such good things about this brand & product, but never took the plunge.

St Tropez Gradual Tan
– light/medium skin formula
– 100% natural tanning agent
– natural streak-free colour
– easy to use

Before I applied this product I had a shower, I didn’t exfoliate my body, I just washed as usual. I like to apply my tan on a night before I go to bed, so it can develop over night & I wake up a bronze goddess 🙂

This gradual tan comes in two shades light/medium & medium/dark! Being very pale I chose the lightest one! To apply this product it is very simple as the product is a cream formula which comes out white. As this is a gradual tan, it acts as a moisturiser & tan in one, which always wins me over!

While applying this gradual tan I noticed it had quite a fragrant, floral scent, which to me was very pleasant as with most gradual tans you get that ‘fake tan’ odour!!!! (Ew!) I was very pleased with this as throughout the development of the tan it only had a slight fake tan smell, which is a winner & one of the main reasons I wanted to try it in the first place! 🙂

When I woke up the tan was quite noticeable, I am very fair & not used to any sort of tan. Anyway, I went into the bathroom to have a peak at my new tan, to my surprise it looked very natural & healthy. I was astounded by the beautiful, streak-free finish & guess what? No funky smell either. Yipeeee!!! Plus, it moisturises my skin PERFECTLY. It sinks into the skin quite quick, leaving your body feeling nourished all day!👍

ST Tropez has really got it down good with their Gradual Tan, I knew there was a reason why everyone loved this brand so much! :)❤

Have you tried this product or any other from this brand? If so, what did you think?

Lots of Love Natasha

Guest Post: Spring Makeup Look!♥

I just want to say how much I’ve enjoyed this collab with Kayla! She’s such a great person & I’ve loved to chat with her, it really has been a fab experience! If you haven’t checked out Kayla’s blog you NEED to (link at the end of the post!) – she’s such a beautiful & talented blogger. I know you guys will love her & her blog as much as I do! 🙂 ❤
I’m so honored to have the privilege of being on Natasha’s blog! We both were inspired by Tanya Burr’s Spring get ready with me look…here’s my Spring Makeup Look!
Doesn’t everyone make a funny face in their ‘no-makeup selfie’ and then a ‘kissy face selfie’ once all done up?! No, just me…okay then.
The first thing I use before I apply any makeup, I use my go to moisturizer (not pictured above). Next up is Maybelline’s instant age rewind eraser dark spot corrector and I put that on my blemishes and around my nose. I follow that up with my Covergirl outlast stay fabulous 3 in 1 in #805 Ivory. Since it’s Spring and I’ve started to tan, I come in with my new elf golden bronzer. I’ve been loving blush lately and I just picked up a new baked one from elf that is more like a highlight, I absolutely love it! It’s in the shade Pinktastic and at $3, I HIGHLY recommend it!
I add some elf eyelid primer and then go over my brows with Maybelline great lash in clear. Now it’s finally time to start my Spring eyes. I applied NYX in MPE03 Aqua Green to my waterline and then brought it up into my inner corners and a little to my tight line. To my lids, I used Revlon’s singles in Petal all over the lid and then came in with Oyster, which I also used as a highlight under my brows. Then I apply some of my favorite mascara of the moment, CoverGirl clumpcrusher extensions in very black. To finish the look, I use my fave Spring lip combo, Khroma Beauty (now known as Kardashian Beauty) joystick in Sea Coral and then I go over that with NYX butter gloss in BLG08 Apple Strudel. Last, but not least I set it with elf’s makeup mist & set.
I hope you enjoyed this look. A huge thank you to Natasha for having me!! For more makeup looks, recipes, and book reviews, stop by my blog –, xo!

Spring Nails!♥

Hi beauties. ☼

I know I promised you a nail post last night but I got busy editing my Selena Gomez inspired makeup look video (click here to watch). So here is the nail post as promised 🙂

I started off by shaping my nails by filing them (remember! file them in one direction to prevent nail damage!). I then applied a thin coat of Rimmel – Sweet as Sugar to my nails, this doesn’t come out as opaque as the colour in the bottle straight away, so I find its best to build it up rather than apply one thick coat as you’re more likely to spoil your nails while waiting for them to dry! (which we all know is VERY annoying!!).

I let the first coat dry & then went on to apply a second coat…

wpid-20140510_125240.jpgAs you can see, after just two coats of this colour it is already pretty opaque, however, it wasn’t an even coverage so I decided to apply a third & final coat to the nails to achieve my desired effect! (you could stop at two coats, its entirely up to you)

This is the third & final coat, the picture doesn’t really show much of a difference. But in reality it looks a whole lot nicer & theres an even amount of colour on all the nails 🙂

I hope you all found this post interesting, what colour are you loving on your nails right now? let me know in the comments below 🙂 xo

Spring/Summer Makeup!♥

Hi beauties.

Since the weather here in the UK has finally started to brighten up I thought it was about time I filmed a spring/summer inspired look, so if you’d like to check-out my video for this look below then click here, all products & brushes used are also listed in the describtion box of the video.

As always I started with a fresh, clean face (see my Morning Routine for more info) before appying any makeup on my skin. Before applying my foundation I used the Gosh Velvet Touch Primer, I then mixed together the L’Oreal True Match Foundation with the MeMeMe Beat the Blues Highlighter,  this is so I get a nice dewy finish to the look as the foundation itself sets quite matte!

To conceal my undereye circles I used Maybelline The Eraser (this also gives a nice highlighted effect under the eyes!). To conceal any blemishes/redness I used Collection’s Lasting Perfection Concealer, this concealer is a very full coverage & just about covers everything you wish to be covered.

To ensure my base doesn’t slip & slide everywhere throughout the day I ALWAYS set it with Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, I then used Benefits Hoola Bronzer (click here for my review!) and Sleeks Shimmer Blush in Rose Gold to bring back life to my face!

As this is a spring/summer look I wanted to keep the eyes simple & natural looking, so I went for a neutral winged liner look. To create this look I used MACs Eyeshadow in Naked Lunch all over the lid and both matte brown shades from the Avon True Colour Eyeshadow Quad in the crease & blended it out. I love this neautral look as it makes my eyes appear brighter and more awake. To make this look a tad more dramatic (but wearable for the daytime) I used the L’Oreal Superliner in black to create a winged liner, I then used Rimmels Soft Kohl in white in the waterline and Maybellines One-By-One Mascara to brighten up my eyes further.

Although I don’t really need to fill in my brows on a daily basis as my brows are naturally quite full, I choose to, I prefer the look it gives as it ties any makeup look together! As I have full brows anyway I make sure to fill in sparse areas more than anything, for this I used my ELF Studio Eyebrow Kit and combed through the brows with a makeup spoolie!

YAY. The fun part!! So for the main feature of this look, the lips, I used Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in 220 Showy Flamboyante. This colour is absolutely gorgeous & just brightens up any look (for a swatch of the colour click here).

I hope you enjoyed this post, or at least found it interesting. If you did then don’t forget to like or tell me in a comment below, I love hearing your feedback! 🙂

I would also love to know what you guys are loving this time of year, so my question for you is ‘whats your favourite look for spring/summer?’

Thank you for your time, it really does mean a lot 🙂 xo

Lots of Love Natasha ♥
