No-Bake Crunchie Cheesecake ♡

Hi beauties,

A bit of a different post today! I’ve been really loving baking recently & while I’m still awaiting on the arrival of our little Prince (due 29th!) I’m using my time wisely by doing the things I love! ♡

I just wanted to share with you my Crunchie Cheesecake – originally I was doing a Diam bar cheesecake but couldn’t for the life of me find any! If you’d like to see my make the Diam Bar Cheesecake then comment below 🙂

Ingredients
Serves: 6

  • 150g (5 oz) digestive biscuits
  • 45g (1 1/2 oz) butter
  • 110g (4 oz) caster sugar
  • 120ml whipping cream
  • 150g (5 oz) dark chocolate – melted & cooled
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder mixed with a little hot water
  • 1 (200g) tub cream cheese
  • 5 Crunchie bars
  • You will need a 7 inch cake tin too!

Method

Firstly, measure out your ingredients into different bowls. Makes your life easier as you go through the recipe!

  • Crush your digestive biscuits! This can be done using a food blender or as I do I put the biscuits in a food bag, tie the top tightly but leaving plenty of excess room so the bag doesn’t burst & go mad, crush those biccies until they resemble a bread crumb type look!
  • Mix the melted butter & tablespoon of sugar in with your crushed biscuits.
  • Push the digestive mixture evenly in to the bottom of your cake tin & chill in the fridge while you make the topping
  • Whip your cream to a soft peak, either by hand or with a mixer.

  • Add your cooled melted chocolate & cocoa powder mixture to the cream – fold in to the cream mixture until the colour is even!

  • Beat the cream cheese and rest of sugar together.
  • Add the chocolate cream mixture & 3 crushed Crunchie bars to the cream cheese – fold in so you don’t knock the air out until the colour is even.

  • Spread evenly on top of the biscuit base & add a coat of cocoa powder for decoration.

  • Freeze for 1 hour for quick serving or leave in the fridge over night while the mixture sets.
  • Crush 2 more Crunchie Bars & sprinkle over the top for decoration & extra crunch!!

Review: Lush Melting Marshmallow Moment ❤

Hi beauties 🌞

Remember when I posted my lush haul? Well you’ll recall this beauty being mentioned. I finally got chance to try it out, so here’s what I thought 🙂

image

What lush claim

Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment brings to mind dolly mixtures and candy floss, so it’s no surprise it’s popular with children of all ages. In fact, its gentle moisture-infusing ingredients are ideal for young, delicate, or irritated skins.

Appearance

Lush’s melting marshmallow moment literally looks and smells like a marshmallow you would eat.

As Lush claims it does smell like dolly mixture (if you don’t know, it’s a sweet!) & candyfloss. It smells heavenly. Good enough to eat 🙂

What I thought
I really enjoyed using this bath melt & at £3.95 per melt you can’t really go wrong.
It made the bath feel and smell amazing. It made the water lusciously soft and made my skin feel silky soft.

I have sensitive skin and my skin didn’t react to this, my legs usually get irritated more than any other part of my body, but they were fine and felt lovely and soft.

I would say it is moisturising to an extent where you don’t feel like all oils are being stripped from your body.  But I still feel the need to apply so separate moisturiser.

With that being said I highly recommend this. It definitely calms and nourishes you,  so if your in the market for a new bath melt. Definitely give it a go!:)

Have you tried this bath melt? Your thoughts?  ❤

**DON’T FORGET** I’m running my giveaway until the 08/09 so get entering,  there’s not long left… click here to enter.

Hi Beauties ☼

I’m so excited for todays post, it’s a little late but work got in the way! Anyway, last week I finally got to go to Lush, I don’t have a Lush store in the town I live in so whenever I go somewhere with one I stock up 🙂 It’s safe to say I splurged & stocked up, but hey, its Lush! I couldn’t resist!!

So lets get into what I bought…

1. The Comforter Bubble BarPrice: £4.75 each, this may seem pricey but trust me, you can get at least 4-6 baths out of this one bar!! This luscious blackcurrant fragranced bubble bar makes for a lovely pamper night bubble bath.

wpid-20150531_230454.jpg2. Brightside Bubble BarPrice £4.75 each, like the Comforter it can make for many bubble baths. This however, smells like summer, if summer had a scent it’d be this. “Sicilian mandarin, bergamot and tangerine essential oils to help you look on the bright side of life!”

3. Yuzu & Cocoa BubbleroonPrice £3.65 each – “With moisturising coconut oil and shea butter, Yuzu and Cocoa has a mood-brightening colour and scent thanks to a blend of citrus oils, with a chocolatey undertone.”
